Integrated microfluidics platform

Orphidia’s unique application of microfluidics enables automation and miniaturization of traditional blood testing processes

What is microfluidics?

Broadly speaking, microfluidics is the process in which small amounts of fluid flow through tiny channels.

How are we using it?

Orphidia uses microfluidic chips to test blood through automation. Micro-pumps keep the blood flowing, while micro-valves direct the flow of blood throughout our chip.

Why use microfluidics?

Microfluidics allows us to significantly downsize and expedite the entire blood testing process, increasing efficiency and mobility, and decreasing sample and reagent times.
